Missouri Republican Party: 2008
After the Missouri Republican Party and their candidates began using Friendly Phones ten years ago, it found great success at the state and local levels. The party has retaken control of both chambers of the General Assembly for the first time in decades, elected a Republican governor in 2004, and transformed Missouri from a bellweather into a solidly red state in presidential elections.
The Missouri Republican Party renewed their Friendly Phones license in December 2007 and immediately began voter identification calls for the 2008 Victory operation. What started as a small group of paid Republican callers in the basement of the party headquarters quickly expanded into a statewide network of volunteer phone banks and at-home callers utilizing Friendly Phones' paperless, web-based program.
Throughout the campaign, the party used Friendly Phones for voter identification and candidate advocacy, as well as identifying yard sign locations, building a GOTV list, and turning out Republican supporters on Election Day. All of the data gathered by their callers was added to the party's voter file and easily imported into Voter Vault.
By Election Day, 7,264 live callers made 1.9 million voter identification calls and more than 600,000 GOTV reminder calls. More importantly, Missouri was the only battleground state to deliver its electoral votes for the Republican nominee for president.

Friendly Phones was used on my behalf during my recent campaign for St Charles City Council. I won the race by five votes and beat a 28-year incumbent by identifying my supporters and turning them out on Election Day. I would recommend Friendly Phones to anyone serious about winning elections.
--Richard Veit, Councilman, St. Charles, MO
We managed thousands of volunteers and millions of phone calls with Friendly Phones. The program allowed us to monitor the field reps' progress - then report nightly to the RNC. Editing scripts, moving callers to new call universes, preventing duplicate calls, avoiding complicated data uploads - Friendly Phones made it easy.
--Chuck Poplstein, Victory 2008 Director, Missouri Republican Party
Friendly Phones is simple to teach, easy to use, and gives you the capability to detect and respond to issues as they emerge - and to turn your phones on a dime. It is a terrific tool for both challengers and incumbents. I would highly recommend the program.
